Apparently we're all different!

Take this test!
You're yellow, the color of joy and energy — two things you definitely bring to everyone around you. It's hard for anyone to be sad or lonely in your presence; your sunny disposition and cheery outlook just won't allow it. The warmth of your personality shines through in the kindness you show friends and family (and strangers, too). Always ready with a lighthearted joke or heartfelt compliment, you know how to make people feel good about themselves, so they can't get enough of you. Yellow is a warm and inviting color for a warm and inviting person — you!

Good thing blue is my fav color

Take this test!
You're blue — the most soothing shade of the spectrum. The color of a clear summer sky or a deep, reflective ocean, blue has traditionally symbolized trust, solitude, and loyalty. Most likely a thoughtful person who values spending some time on your own, you'd rather connect deeply with a few people than have a bunch of slight acquaintances. Luckily, making close friends isn't that hard, since people are naturally attracted to you — they're soothed by your calming presence. Cool and collected, you rarely overreact. Instead, you think things through before coming to a decision. That level-headed, thoughtful approach to life is patently blue — and patently you!

I'm an orange, how 'bout you?

Take this test!
You're a bold, confident orange. A warm, powerful color that indicates a strong, welcoming personality, orange is the mark of people who are social and extroverted by nature. Vibrant, with an upbeat attitude, you have a bright, inviting demeanor. Energetic and fun-loving, you're a real friend-magnet. Your easy charm and unassuming manner make you the sort of person people want to meet and get to know better. Well-rounded and fun to be around, you enjoy helping others, so it's no surprise that orange also symbolizes attraction. Orange is an extraordinary color — for an extraordinary person.

Jed

So there is a new man in my life. His name is Jedediah Bryce Goodell. He is 24, from West Virginia, a student at BYU (majoring in mechanical engineering, minoring in math, thinking about working with computers, like for graduate school, since that's what his job is now and he loves it), and the oldest of 8. Yes, 8! However don't get nervous, he only wants to have 3-4, like me.
He served his mission in Chile, speaks Spanish, loves fish (he has like 15, in two tanks), and plays frisbee a lot. He is a really good singer, guitar player, trumpet player, and Rock Band Hero.
Anyways, I am in love with this goober and I seriously plan on marrying him. It's not that I can see myself with him for the rest of my life, it's that I can't see myself without him for the rest of eternity. :)
Dad has already met him, along with the Utah Busaths, excluding Brad & Jonni, and all of the Utah Burnetts. I think Dad liked him. I know he liked Dad and everyone else. He thought Steve Busath was funny and really liked Grams and Mary. Those are the the comments I remember him making, but there were more good ones.
I can't wait for all of you who haven't met him to do so. Tom hangs out with us pretty frequently and they both have told me how much they like each other. Laurel will meet him in April when her and Nathan come out to visit. He and I are planning a trip to both of our homes in May, so that's whenI'll meet his family and he'll meet Mom, Ang, Jeff, & Pepper.
I just wanted to put all of that out there... Love you all!!

Flickr Group

Okay, I've got the indoor family ones up and ready to view.

Let me know what you think and which ones you would want on CD. The ones that I didn't upload were either the outtakes or ones where there was more than 3 people not looking.

Enjoy!

Flickr Group

I am sending you an invitation to sign up with Flickr. If you've already got an account, let me know and I can find you and add you to my Family contacts so that you can see the photos. If you have problems, email me. (laurel dot lakey at gmail dot com)

Thanks!

Outdoor Good One

Here is a great outdoor one. It's another composite of two shots, and everyone is smiling and happy. :) I also edited this one, softened it and slimmed some peeps. I'm putting the rest of them up tonight, so be on the lookout for a Flickr link. I'll post it here when I'm done and you can check them all out.

The Best of the Best

Hey all! I edited one of the indoor photos already. For this one, it's a combination of a couple of shots, so that everyone is looking and smiling (for the most part. Aidan is excused, lol!).

I think the best option is just to post them all at Flickr, then have you guys decide which ones you want and then I can edit them and send you a CD for you to print from. That way I don't have to edit them all, and you can decide which ones you want and have them for your own use.

Let me know what you think.

And no, I'm not holding them for ransom, I'm just really busy! :) Work, life, laundry -- it all just gets in the way sometimes. :)
