I was just looking through some old pictures for a project and I came across a series of these.
I cannot begin to tell you how happy it makes me to look at them.
I get just a little sad that we've grown up so fast -- all three of us older girls are married and having families, my younger brother is off doing his own growing up on a mission for our church, Angie is dating and driving, and little Jeff is certainly no baby anymore!
I guess what I'm trying to say is that I miss this time period a little bit. And looking at this picture makes me happy to remember it. Brings me so much joy. :)

Halloween and Christmas 2010??
Well, it sure likes this blog has been hoppin'! :D
So, family, anything new going on? I know Em's had an announcement recently and we won't hear one from Ali and Jed for a long time. And trust me, it may be a while before you hear one from us, too. :)
Thought I'd share some photos from our Trunk or Treat in case you didn't see them already.
Attack of the killer hot dog!
And doesn't Nathan's hair look so light? :) He's almost 29 which is almost mid-thirties, which is pretty much over the hill. :)
Not to be outdone, I thought I'd get a phat photo of me and the cute little pumpkin. Yeah, I've had enough Halloween candy, so it would seem. :)
And there's the jolly pumpkin! His teeth are so funny these days, his fourth one on the bottom finally poked through yesterday or the day before after threatening to do so for weeks. We're glad he's getting chompers because it means more food to try for him! Which is pretty cool and lots of fun for him.
And then, of course, here is our little Halloweenie. It was all he wanted to be this year and we couldn't convince him of anything else. :) He did turn out pretty cute, though, if I do say so myself.
And he was hungry enough to become a cannibal. Ah, well.
Okay, enough about us, it's time to see what YOU all dressed up as this Halloween! Come on, post your best stuff.
Oh, and are we officially going to have Christmas in Cleveland in 2010? I need to start saving up now if that is the case. :) And oh, I would LOVE for it to be the case! Especially since I was the only one who couldn't come last year (BOO....) I'm really in need of some Busath family fun in my life. Besides, Tom will be home and it will just be the best Christmas ever, right??
So let's start planning now and figuring out schedules if we can. I want this to happen 100% and not have anyone missing. Then maybe we could get another fam photo! Woohoo! :)

Please welcome....
....baby Westley Kai Lakey. (But you can just call him West!)
We're so happy that we now have our newest family member! He was born on Monday, January 19th at 2:23pm, coming in at 8 lbs. 2 oz., and measuring 20 inches long. He has a full head of black hair and dark eyes (so far). I'm hoping they turn blue. :) He is the sweetest little baby and delivery was really easy and great. He was ready to make his appearance -- three pushes and he was out! :) Baby and I (Laloo) are both doing fine. He has the longest fingers and toes! Definitely not Busath toes, heehee. Eli is a proud big brother and we're all excited to be home and resting.
And just because I know it wouldn't be complete without a picture fix, here you go. :) I'll be adding these to my blog soon so you can send people there if they want to see them as well.
Love you all! Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. I feel so richly blessed to have been able to have such an easy delivery and I know that we're going to have fun with this little guy. :)
Little Westley Kai Lakey (and it's pronounced with a long "i" sound, as in kite)
Proud Mama. 'Nuff said. :)
Being weighed and measured. Look at all that dark hair!
Little West and his proud Dada.
Eli's first sight of his new baby brother.
Proud big brother Eli. He loves calling him "my Westley" and says he's "so cute".
Nana and West. Loving that she's here helping! :)
