Where is everybody?

This is supposed to be how we find out what's going on with one another. Where are you Mom? Dad? Angela - we need to know, so we can remember, what it's like to be a sophomore in high school! Jeff - post a picture of something weird you found online, anything! Come on people! :)

Wedding Photos!

Okay, so if you're looking for Ali's wedding photos -- look no further than HERE!

Hope you like them! :)

And here is one of my favorites (with some added antique texture, of course):

Oh, and let me just tell you -- I had one of these printed already, and it's gorgeous!! The lab that we're using is sa-weet! :) I did one of the Busath kids, too, and it turned out so great. Can't wait to print some more of them!

So cute!

Here are some of the pictures that I've edited of Ali's wedding. (They're the ones from Jessica Kettle.) And don't worry, once I get them all edited, I'll post them onto a Flickr account so that everyone can see them and order them. Ali and Jed, just let me know which ones you'd like and what sizes and I'll order them for you. Jessica's one requirement is that you print everything from WHCC.com, so that the quality is guaranteed. They have good prices, and they're really good, so I agreed with her. I have an account with them, so I can order you whatever you want.

And that goes for anyone else, too. Just place your order with me, and I'll make sure to get them sent to you.

Hope you like them! :) I think they turned out just great.

Let's Just Take A Gander

With continual changes in our family, it's nice to reflect back on the good old days (in no particular order).

Karl's wedding. What a wonderful time. We got to add Nathan to the family and we all got a free trip to CALIFORNIA!! Woo! (Thanks Dad!)

Tubing in Utah is always fun. And by tubing in Utah I mean any time Mom wears that headband and we can make fun of her. That, and Jeff's facial expressions.

"I thought I was white!" Haha Karl, you're black!

Isn't it crazy how every single one of us looks very different now than we did in this picture?

Remember that time in Mexico when we got kicked off the toys because we didn't pay??

Good times.

Pretty girls, pretty girls. Can you say "pretty girls"? Yes, pretty girls.

Yay for family! (even pouty Christian in the corner...)

How could I post a family photo chain without our beloved Nobbin? I mean...Pepper.

Where would we be without Peppoot?!?

Now this was a fun date! And by date I mean the guy who was helping us was hott and I pretended we were on a date...

No words.

What a beautiful family we have!

News Flash! Dad posts on a blog...

Well, this is a first. Not just that I posted on a blog, but that I remembered my password so I could sign in. I was inspired by Ali's latest and had to respond. Yes, although it seems like we've been funding you for an eternity, everything temporal has an end sometime. Your next eternity of bills, expenses, etc., will be the Jed & Ali show. At some point, Mom & I have to start setting aside for retirement (only 15 or so years away!). The alternative is to come and live with one of you kids, which would be the ultimate revenge.

Jeff & I just got back from scout camp yesterday. It was Jeff's first one, and probably around my 12th or so. I was so excited to finally not have to camp in the heat and humidity of South Texas. That was the good news. The bad news was that we camped in the heat and humidity of Northeast Ohio instead. I was amazed. Still, it was only around 82 degrees most days, while it has been 15 degrees higher in San Antonio this week, and almost as hot in Utah. We had a fun time. Jeff earned 4 merit badges - First Aid, Environmental Science, Woodcarving, and Pulp & Paper. He also completed a lot of his requirements for 1st Class rank. Not to mention archery, rifle shooting, fishing, capture the flag, etc.

Angela (& Mom for a day) got to go to YW Camp the same week. I'm not entirely sure what it involved except I heard a lot of yelling and screaming in the background when I called Mom. Chocolate syrup played a role as well. You'll have to get the rest of the story from the two of them.

We're getting ready to see everyone in Utah in a few weeks. I know the arrangements for Ali & Jed's wedding are a lot of work, but I'm sure it will all come together just fine. Hopefully, we will have Tom's mission call by this coming Friday, so we can start planning for that as well.

That's it for now. Have a great week!

Mawwige Is Wat Bwings Us Togever Today

Just thought I'd post something, since the last post was on Jeff's birthday...
I'm getting married. Shocker, I know. Surprisingly (with my track record), he's a great guy. It's happening on July 31st in the Salt Lake Temple, for all of those who wear "the Gs". The reception will be held on August 1st for those of you who are Angela and Jeff and Pepper. You are all invited. Bring friends.

THANK YOU THANK YOU!! is due to Karl Ira Dillman-Lakey for taking my engagement pictures, retouching them to reduce my “putrescence”, and designing multiple amazing layouts for my invitations. She is ridiculously talented and I cannot thank her enough for all of her help!

THANK YOU THANK YOU!! is likewise due to Femily Rose Busath-Murd. She has taken upon her the chore of hand-addressing all of our 450+ invitations. What a feat! Not an easy task, especially going at it alone. No fun. So thank you for doing that for me.

A special thank you goes out to the Mom and Pops for funding my eternal committment, and by that I mean not only paying for the wedding, but funding us for eternity. :D But seriously, thanks for making this happen.

I love all of you!! You help and support is indeed appreciated and I can't wait to see you guys in a month!!!! Woo!! Yay for ETERNAL LOVE!! <3>
